KFC's Famous Bowl inspired recipe

I loved mashed potatoes and this recipe was inspired by KFC's Famous Bowl. My mashpo recipe and gravy recipe where all from my husband's, he learned it when he was working in Qatar Applebee's, we just adjust it to our desired taste and preference. I hope you'll try and like it as well. So here you go;

Ingredients

For the mashpo:
Potatoescrushed finely chopped garlic buttersaltmilkbuttered cornFor the gravy:

For the chicken pops: Chicken breast (sliced into small cubes)saltpeppercumin powdercayenne peppereggflourbreadcrumbsOil
Cooking Instructions for the MASHED-POTATOES Peeled the potatoes, cut into cubes; tossed in with salt.Add some water in the pot, add in the potatoes and cook for 15 mins or until potatoes are done.Mashed the potatoes. Easy Veggie Recipe

Ingredients: Baguio BeansCarrotsChayoteGround PorkGarlicOnionMama Sita's Oyster SauceWaterCornstarch dissolved in waterMcCormick ground black pepperGreen Onions (optional)Fried Garlic (for garnishing)Chili Garlic oil (optional)Olive Oil Cooking Instructions: Marinate ground pork with Mama Sita's Oyster sauce, add some ground black pepper. In a wok, add a teaspoon of olive oil, saute the ground pork until cooked. Transfer in a bowl and set aside.In the same wok, saute the onions and garlic until brown. Add in the carrots, chayote and beans.Drizzle 3-4 tablespoons of mama sita's oyster sauce and ground black pepper. Add a bit of water , a very small amount of water just to have more sauce. Taste and adjust according to your desired saltiness.Add in the dissolved cornstarch to thicken the sauce.Add in the cooked ground pork, green onions then mix.Transfer in a bowl and garnish with fried garlic. Paldo Jjajangmen Black Bean Noodle Review

If you watched a lot of K-dramas/K-Movies there will always be a scene that they eat Black Bean Noodles.As a food enthusiast I was very curious on what it taste like and why it looks so freaking delicious and to my surprise this ones really tasted so good, I'm really into this noodles that I actually hoard total of 12 packs. I have tried a couple of different brands of Black Bean Noodles like Chapagetti a Nongshim brand, Jawang Black Bean Noodles but Paldo's Jjajangmen still my ultimate favorite. I will be reviewing the other black bean noodle brands some other time. Anyways , Paldo's Jjajangmen Black Bean Noodles has the balance taste of saltiness and very little kick of sweetness.Somehow I can compare it to sweet soy sauce or oyster sauce but it has its own distinct flavor , its like toasted bean paste and I really like it. Batchoy Tagalog

It's summertime but it doesn't feel like it,here in our tribe lol.  It rained like crazy these past few days so I indulged with my very own batchoy tagalog to keep me warm. This is actually one of my husband's favorite hungover remedy, I must say one of his favorite pulutan. He always request this when he and my uncles have their inuman session. It really takes a lot of time preparing this dish as it uses pork,liver,innards and intestines. I have to cut and clean the intestines well to removed its foul smell and bitter taste. It takes time and effort but as you see your loved ones saying how good it is, it's quite fulfilling and satisfying.  Batchoy Tagalog is closer in taste with tinola due to its use of ginger and same way of sauteeing it. This dish is really interesting as you also add miswa noodles and pork blood. Add rice in the bowl and arrange the cooked vegetables

Samyang Buldak Bokkeummyun Review

Besides being a k-drama and k-movies addict, I am also a huge fan of Korean Foods, watching those Korean actors and actresses ate their foods made me drool; All the Time. They seem to look like all their food are so daang delicious! Especially those ramen/noodles! Well originally, Buldak Bokkeummyun is a spicy fried chicken flavor. I loved spicy foods a lot,and it so happen that I've been seeing a lot of raved and challenges with Samyang's Buldak Bokkeummyun thru Youtube and read about good reviews thru ebay, so I got very curious , as they say it is one of the spiciest noodles ever! It claims to make you cry and make your mouths on fire. Ooh! Interesting, that's something I must try! So, now let's make this Buldak Bokkeummyun..
How to prepare: add noodle to a pot of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.   Drain, saving 120 ml water. Add in liquid sachet. Return to heat and stir fry for 30 seconds. Sprinkle garnish. Stir and enjoy!
