Finally! I have tried myself Kim Bok Joo's favorite sausage in Weightlifting Fairy, this is the sausage that we've seen in some of the episodes. Curiosity strikes that I really tried hard finding where to buy this cheese sausage,so now I'll be sharing with you all how it looks like and how it taste like. I also let my friends tried it and will share with you our insights with this snack. Keep reading below.
Back side of the package

photo from the drama
It looks like an ice candy tube or like a skinless meat sausage

How to open: remove the red tape and pull to eat
ready to eat

What's inside? It's a cheese and it quite taste like the round cheese with red coating we have every New Year's Eve. What it taste like? It tasted like "itlog na maalat" or salted egg but with a hint of a cheesy and a bit sweet flavor. My friends actually did not like it but for me it's okay. The texture is somewhat like a hard jelly ace pudding. If you're a fan of salted egg flavors, you will like it.  Give a try so you can feel like Bok Joo's as well :D

Where to buy: Tessa's Cotton Candy

Batchoy Tagalog

It's summertime but it doesn't feel like it,here in our tribe lol.  It rained like crazy these past few days so I indulged with my very own batchoy tagalog to keep me warm. This is actually one of my husband's favorite hungover remedy, I must say one of his favorite pulutan. He always request this when he and my uncles have their inuman session. It really takes a lot of time preparing this dish as it uses pork, liver, innards and intestines. I have to cut and clean the intestines well to removed its foul smell and bitter taste. It takes time and effort but as you see your loved ones saying how good it is, it's quite fulfilling and satisfying.  Batchoy Tagalog is closer in taste with tinola due to its use of ginger and same way of sauteeing it. This dish is really interesting as you also add miswa noodles and pork blood. So this is how I make my own batchoy tagalog at home, give it a try, it is definitely a delicious way to take the chill off cold rainy days

Paldo Jjajangmen Black Bean Noodle Review

If you watched a lot of K-dramas/K-Movies there will always be a scene that they eat Black Bean Noodles. As a food enthusiast I was very curious on what it taste like and why it looks so freaking delicious and to my surprise this ones really tasted so good, I'm really into this noodles that I actually hoard total of 12 packs. I have tried a couple of different brands of Black Bean Noodles like Chapagetti a Nongshim brand, Jawang Black Bean Noodles but Paldo's Jjajangmen still my ultimate favorite. I will be reviewing the other black bean noodle brands some other time. Anyways , Paldo's Jjajangmen Black Bean Noodles has the balance taste of saltiness and very little kick of sweetness.Somehow I can compare it to sweet soy sauce or oyster sauce but it has its own distinct flavor , its like toasted bean paste and I really like it. The noodles are the bomb, I think they're perfect (thick and tasty). Okay so now let's see what inside; Back of the package
